Weaber's Prefinished Solid Oak Slats offer a modern take on traditional wainscotting. Their warm, natural color and simple lines will elevate your contemporary decor. Inspired by Mid-Century aesthetic these slats are made from Solid Oak sourced from the Appalachian Region of the United States. The smooth, prefinished surface with a UV coating is Solvent-Free with Zero-VOC. in every carton there are 37 slats and 1 spacer. This provided spacer allows you to choose between 3 spacing options:1/2 in. Spacing: 1 box covers a 73.5 in. W x 36 in. H area which is equal to 18.375 sqft.3/4 in. Spacing: 1 box covers an 82.5 in. W x 36 in. H area which is equal to 20.625 sqft.1-1/2 in. Spacing: 1 box covers a 109.5 in. W x 36 in. H area which is equal to 27.375 sq. ft. with nearly endless design possibilities, you may choose to install the slats horizontally, vertically, in a staggered pattern or on a diagonal to achieve your desired look. what color stain can i use to match these boards
We suggest using Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in Oyster.
Can these be applied with a specific adhesive to builder grade sliding closet doors ? I plan on painting the doors black, and give the doors a slatted wall look…what adhesive is best to use ?

Yes, you should just let them acclimate to your home environment for a few days before installation. And be sure to use glue and nails.

Yes, but it is natural wood product so some warping may occur if there is a lot of moisture in the area.
Do you have to paint the wall first? Also, can you stain these boards?
No, you do not have to paint the wall prior to installation but it will show between the slats. Concerning the staining of these boards, they are already stained on 3 sides. Only one side can be stained, and you will probably have to do some sanding to remove any overflow that might have deposited on the backside when the front and 2 sides were previously stained.
