About This Product
Every piece meets the highest grading standards for strength and appearance. This lumber is pressure treated in order to protect it from termites, fungal decay, and rot. Ideal for a variety of applications, including decks, playsets, landscaping, stair support, walkways and other outdoor projects where lumber is exposed to the elements. This lumber can be painted or stained. When used properly, it is both safe and environmentally friendly.Treated wood is typically still wet when it's delivered to The Home Depot or job site. As it dries, you should expect slight changes in width and length. As lumber dries, it may split, cup and warp. This is more likely to occur to occur in lower-grade boards, where knots and uneven grains are already present. Each piece of lumber is unique and carries physical characteristics that may include the following: knots, warping, shrinkage, swelling and/or splitting. Nominal Dimensions: 2 in. x 6 in. x 16 ft. Can you glue together to create a waterproof floor glue at the tongue and groove?
Dave, the boards will not have a waterproof seal for the tongue and groove. We are not able to verify the ability of other products used on them to create a seal. Please refer to the product information for the glue that you intent to use.
Is this wood suitable for an interior finish ceiling?
This lumber is pressure-treated for outdoor use, It is not recommended for interior use like a ceiling finish.

the descriptions clearly states that this is above ground use and ground contact is not available. however when I went to the store, the tag stapled on the end states that it is for ground contact use and is rated UC4A-U1 0.15PCF???
