Product Details

The Weatherables Post Mount for Wood Kit is a heavy-duty post surface mount for installing a 4 in. post to a wood or composite surface. Mount is designed with an adjustable leveling feature to ensure accurate installation. Manufactured from Q235 steel with a Dichromate coating for superior rust protection in even the most severe environments. PVC guides will ensure a fit with most 4 in. post sleeves. This kit includes all necessary fasteners to attach to a wood or composite surface. A concrete mounts available is also available (AMPT-HDMOUNTCC-4 x 42).
  • For use with 42 in. railing up to 10 ft. wide

Q:I purchased Trek 48 inch post sleeves but I am unable to find the 48 inch posts. Will this work with Trek 48 inch sleeves and base?

A:  Good question, Sonja. Unfortunately, I do not have a definite answer for you. Trek is a different manufacturer than Weatherables so I do not have the ability to comment on another manufacturers product as I'm not familiar with it. What I can tell you is that this post mount will work with our post sleeve kits and although we do not have a 48" post sleeve, our 54" can be easily cut down to the 48" you need and will work with the post mount you've inquired about. The part information for our post sleeve kit is as follows: Internet #206386843 Model #WWR-POSTKIT-4X54.
