what is the measure of rectangle holes of the post
Good question, Roberto! The answer would depend on the style of Weatherables fence you order these with. If you order, for example the Pembroke, the post would have 2 holes measuring 1.5" x 5.5". However, some of our fencing styles have smaller routes or a different number of routes on the post. Again, the posts are routed to correspond with the style of weatherable fence you order it with. We are planning to dig post holes 20"- 24" inches in ground since our frost line is not as deep. With the 7' tall Augusta style fence, are we able to trim the bottom of the posts, and does that still line-up with the fence insert holes?
The posts are custom routed to match the fence panels you purchase at the same time. If you are looking to match up to an existing fence, give Weatherables a call at 855-224-9761. For a typical 7 ft. tall privacy panel, there are 34 inches of space from the bottom of the bottom rail hole to the bottom end of the post. This should give you enough room to trim the post to accommodate your 20"-24" post holes.
if you just order the fence posts, do they come predrilled?
We custom route all of our posts to match the style of Weatherables fence that you need them for. In order for us to route them, your fence would have to be a Weatherables fence. If using a 6" tall Ashton fence, how tall should the posts line posts and the end posts? 8 foot?
The posts should be 8 feet tall when using a 6-foot tall Ashton fence. This allows for the fence panels to be properly installed and provides adequate support.
