I would. That's what I'm doing. Minimally only 1 gate post needed hinge side. But the latch side can take some abuse as well from gate slamming so put one there to account for that.

We are puting in a 6’ Weatherables Pembroke Vinyl gate and part of it is on concrete, what end posts would you suggest we buy for a high wind area.
Good question, Lynn! The 5x5x105 gate post is what we would recommend. It has the aluminum insert in it. All the pictures of the post only have 2 slots, the fence that I am going to purchase needs 3 slots, do you have 3 slot post?
That is actually a "generic" photo. We custom route all of the posts to correspond with the style of Weatherables fence you purchase. So, yes, the posts will have the 3 holes that you need to install your posts. Keep in mind that your fence panels will need to be a Weatherables fence panel in order for us to route the posts accordingly. We cannot route the posts to match a different vendor or manufactures product.
Do I need just one aluminum post, at the hinge side of the gate?
A gate end post is routed just like a standard end post but includes an aluminum insert to help support the weight and swing of the gate. You will only need to purchase the gate end post and that will have everything you need to insert a panel and the stability to hang a gate. In situations where there is no fence panel connecting to the gate use a gate blank post (i.e. gate is against a house).
If i have a double fence gate kit, how many end gate post do i need? 2 or 4?
You'll need two gate end posts for a double gate. One post will be on the hinge side of each gate section.
