Great question, Sara! The only difference between the Calgary and the Mason is the widths of the pickets. The Calgary has 11.3" pickets and the Mason has 6" pickets. If you have a relatively flat surface you are fencing, the Calgary tends to be more affordable and less installation time but it will only accommodate a slope of up to 2 inches over an 8 ft span. With the Mason having smaller width pickets, you are able to accommodate up to 4 inches over an 8 ft span. The quality of the vinyl is the same across the board though. I do hope this has been helpful but if you need any additional information, you are welcome to give us a call at 855-224-9761.
Great question! With approximately 2 inched between the bottom of the bottom rail and your ground surface, you have around 74 inches to the top of the mid-rail or the bottom of the spindles. The space between the mid rail and the top rail where the spindles are installed is 9". The full schematics can be viewed on our website at the following link: https://www.weatherables.com/html-cads/mason-7ft-cad I do hope this has been helpful but if you need any additional information, you are welcome to give us a call at 855-224-9761.
Good question, Kyle. Typically, you would need at least 4 posts with a 3 panel install but the type of posts (line, end, corner, etc) depends on your layout. If you still need assistance figuring out what posts you will need per your layout, you are more than welcome to give us a call at 855-224-9761 or email your layout to info@weatherables.com and we'll be happy to help.
Good question! You would need a post between 2 gates unless you purchase a double gate and we do have a 65" double gate in this styles which will give you about 10.8 ft wide. Although it may not be offered on homedepot.com, you are able to purchase it through your local Home Depot Pro Desk. I do hope this has answered your question but if you need anything further, please feel free to give us a call at 855-224-9761.
Good question, William! All the pieces and parts that are needed to make up one panel are included; rails, pickets and u-channels (posts are sold separately). There is no hardware needed as we use a routed system. The posts are custom routed to the style of fence panels purchased and the rails from the fence panel simply slide into the holes and your post and lock into place. I do hope this has helped but if you need any additional information, please feel free to give us a call at 855-224-9761.
Good question! These are installed using a tongue and groove installation so water and air typically do not go through. 8 individual pickets slide together to make up your panel. Now, air and water will be able to pass through the top section/spindles. I do hope this has helped but if you have any further questions, please feel free to give us a call at 855-224-9761.
Good questions, Mike! If you are planning on going the standard apx 36" into the ground, you will want to go with the 5x5x140 post. Depending on your layout will depend how many line, end or corner posts you will need. You will need no hardware because we use a "routed" system so the rails from your panel will simply slide into the custom routed post and lock into place. Also, because this is an 8'H fence panel, you will need to install using our high wind installation recommendations which does require #10 x 1" screws may be purchased from your local Home Depot store. Please visit our website, weatherables.com, to view the installation instructions under out support tab. I do hope this has helped but if you still have questions, please feel free to give us a call at 855-224-9761.
