- If ordering multiple sections, your order must ship with a 3rd party freight carrier; the trucking company will call to set a date and time frame for delivery; you are responsible for the hand-off loading the product from the end of the truck, curbside; shipment is unsafe for lift-gate; the product is shipped unassembled and the individual pieces weigh no more than 20-25 lbs. so that they can be easily managed during hand-off loading; you may choose "Pick Up In Store" if you prefer to have your order shipped to your local Home Depot store

AnswerHello JP, yes you can choose to install to existing surface. In order to do so you will need the umount bracket to receive the rails. This item will have to be special ordered though your local Home Depot Pro Desk. You will need 4 AWBR-UMOUNT-1.5X5.5 for the mid and bottom rails and 2 AWBR-UMOUNT-1.75X3.5 for the top rails. Had trouble ordering this fence online because the posts for the Davenport need three holes to accommodate the three rails but online the poles show only two holes. This is confusing and we had to go to the service desk at the store and have her order it for us. She was confused as well about the holes and had to call Weatherables for clarification to order the right posts. She was told that the additional hole is cut in the post when the style Davenport is ordered. This should be stated on the website! Otherwise everything came in good condition with all the necessary parts. It was fairly easy to install after all measuring was done correctly.
