So disappointed!
I was excited to find another reusable filter! The one I have was purchased through the company that services my HVAC unit, and I love it - but I was utterly disappointed at what I got with the Web filter! Not only is it not square (the attached image shows it stood up behind my current filter, and you can see how off it is), but in trying to fit it in the spot the thing began to come apart! So, like some other reviewers have experienced, I have no doubt that it would not last more than a couple of rounds before it completely fell apart ... if I was even able to get it installed, which I cannot! I will be trying to return it to Home Depot, if they will take it back.

Poor design but good for fostering frustration
My house requires 2 filters.i bought 1 of these to try. I convinced whoever designed this very likely doesn't use it. I'm fairly mechanical. I designed and built most of the furniture in my house. I've restored classic cars. I designed and built the shed in my back yard. I enjoy wooden Chinese puzzles. 6 months ago I bought this and ended up putting it away until my assembly frustration cooled. Today was my second and last attempt at putting this together. It can be done but I'd recommend using duck tape along the edges to keep it together while you fight the frame. This also could be improved by redesigning the grid to match standard sizes of hvac filters so that the black grid had even smooth edges after being cut. In addition there should be a way to hold the mesh screens and the form filter together without the frame. I used duct tape. The tape also helped smooth the grid edge so it would be easier to tuck into the frame. I've spend about 2 hours trying to get it to work correctly. I ended up throwing this in the trash and would not recommend it to anyone.

Did the adjustable Web Eco Plus have the 4 locking tabs? The instruction are in the inside of the marketing cover paper. You can call our Customer Service Dept. and we could have walked you though how to adjust your filter. 888-808-9100

Poor Quality, Filter came apart INSIDE my Furnace.
Poor Quality, Filter came apart INSIDE my Furnace.
Went to remove it and do the maintenance, found it had NO
layers inside.. nothing, it got sucked back into my Furnace!
Thank God it wasnt on HEAT (only AIR), I had to remove teh access panel and carefully detangle and remove the two inserts.
Would NOT purchase again. Pic is what it is. BEWARE.

I opted to purchase this filter instead of going with our normal disposable filters last month (May 2020). We did no need to cut the filter as it already fit, but I did observe how one would cut it and put it back together and it seems straightforward. The only thing I don't love is that when the air kicks on, this filter seems to have a small gap where it gets sucked up and clicks against the metal in the intake, but this could be solved with a paper shim. This seems to work at least as well as our standard-grade disposable filters that we used to buy, and is holding up well against pet hair and dust.
You will need 2 - one to be in the filter, one to be washed and dried. We rinse ours outside with a hose and then blow it out with an air compressor, and store it wrapped in a towel in a loosely cinched garbage bag in the garage so that it doesn't stay damp and is somewhat protected from debris and bugs.

I dont ever write reviews but this one deserved it
This filter is junk ive had it in my furnace about a month and i went to pull out and clean it.well lets just say that wasnt a 2 min thing bc the filter opened inside and would not fit through the opening and i had to take the return apart to get it out.and to top all that off it looks brand new like the day i put it in which tells me it failed as a filter as well! Absolute garbage!

The filter is easy to install. I love the fact that I will save so much money by cleaning this filter once a month. I just take it out and replace with a paper filter, wash the filter and I let it dry for one week just to make sure its dry. Pop it back in system and that's it!

My metal frame to hold the filter can not tolerate the filter being oversize. The way this filter is manufactured, a joint if formed at one of the corners. Unfortunately, the way they make up this joint leaves the adjacent sides to longer than the opposing sides.
Bottom line, it would not fit in my frame. I returned the first one, but when second one had the same problem, I had to cut the joint free and resecure it to match the opposing sides. It fits now. This is a simple problem that should be fixed at the factory.

Works awesome as reusable aquarium filter material!
It may seem odd but this material works a million times better that the cheap filter material that breaks down. My 125 gallon tank looks great because of this material. I simply remove the grid (wife is a teacher and uses them at her school).
