No issues with Home Depot. Unfortunately, the Weber hose leaks between the hurl nut and the regulator. This is the second Weber hose I have purchased that leaks in this place. The hose itself is manufactured in Canada. The remainder of the product comes from China. I plan to return this second defective Weber hose and perhaps replace it with an aftermarket hose and not another Weber.

Hi! We are very sorry to learn your hose and regulator is leaking. The location of the leak is caused by a bad gasket in the propane tank. We would suggest replacing the propane tank with one that has a good gasket and this leak should be resolved. Thank you!

        Exact Replacement
Found that if you removed the back panel it made getting to the grill connection very easy, only 4 bolts. Installed in less than 20 minutes.

          Perfect Replacement Hose/Regulator
I used this hose to replace the original on my Weber Genesis Grill. It's exactly the same as the original so the change was a no brainer. It essentially involved disconnecting the old hose and then connecting the new one. All is well.

          Bad regulator/hose
Purchased a 670 bar-b-que, when I received it, the regulator/hose was defective. I ordered a new one. The new regulator/hose was defective also. so, now I need replacement again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you have had issues with your grill's regulator. Our Quality Assurance team checks every hose and regulator assembly before it leaves our warehouse, so we are surprised to hear about the problems you're having. Our Support team reached out to youto make sure that we have done everything we can to make this right. Sometimes an issue that seems to be a faulty regulator is really being caused by a safety mechanism in the grill. Once you're sure there's no leak, these steps can help: 1) Make sure the lid of your grill is open and all the control knobs on the grill are in the OFF position (including the side burner knob, if you have one). 2) Turn on your gas supply by opening the valve on top of the tank. 3) Wait for 60 seconds for pressure to build up in the hose before doing anything. The pressure is going to push the device into place to give it the “all clear” for normal operation. Waiting for the pressure to build up is the most important part of this process. 4) After you’ve waited, go ahead and light your grill as you normally would by turning the appropriate burner one at a time to start/high and hitting the igniter button. 5) Light all the main burners and set them to high, then close the lid. Give your grill about 10 to 15 minutes and it should be in the 500 to 550 F range, which means your grill is now working properly.

Connected it to a full 20 lb propane tank. The new regulator started to leak immediately. Thought it was my propane tank but if it was why did the leak stop when I moved the regulator to a different position? It seams the regulator can’t handle the pressure of a full tank.

We are sorry to hear that your regulator was leaking after attaching it to your tank. It is important to make sure that the black knob is securely tightened before opening the gas tank. We always recommend doing a soapy water leak test whenever you change the tank, as well. If your regulator is leaking, please contact Weber directly so we can help!
