Best For Value
I was debating between this & Teaiger grill. I went wirh Weber because I wanted a grill I didn’t have to plug in. First night using it and it cooked medium rare ribeyes perfectly under 4 minutes.

Weber has lost their way as a brand
I've owned Weber grills for 25 years because I felt the quality justified the higher price compared to other brands, and they had a solid reputation for customer service. I bought a new Spirit E-315 in November 2020. Twenty seven months later the grill burned a baseball-sized hole through the cook box - which is warranted for 12 years. Weber customer service claims the replacement parts are not in stock and they don't know when they will be. Meanwhile my grill has been inoperable for over a month. I can easily buy a different brand that will last at least 2 years, like Weber grills, for about half the price of a Weber. If you're thinking a Weber is worth the higher price because of quality and the idea that they back their products, think again - Weber is struggling on both fronts and has lost their way as a brand. I will never own another Weber.

Ooops: Assembly Problem
Have not had a chance to use this grill yet but I ran in to a problem during assembly that you need to be aware of. Weber uses a sticker on the base to show where the locking casters go, which determines the front and back of the grill. The sticker was in the wrong place. Luckily I noticed the error after only putting in about 20 screws so I was able to take it apart and start over. Pay attention to where the propane tank sits, and the hole for the door hinge and you will figure it out.

Gal's first BBQ is a winner!
HD shipped the BBQ quickly (free) and I spent half a day putting it together; the instructions were clear and all the pieces were there with no sloppy joins.It's been a month and I'm really enjoying this grill. The two burners are fast and consistent, and there's more than enough surface area for just me. I grill better than the ex, and Weber certainly helped me break the stereotype!

RUSTING WITHIN 1 MONTH - ALWAYS COVERED TOO
Man this is disappointing. Rusting within 1 month. And It's always been covered with the Official Weber Cover.
Weber support calls this "superficial rust" and won't send new side shelves. Thought their products and support were better but nope.
If you don't care about rust....it does cook great...but it will rust fast.

Door does not hatch
Perhaps I installed it backwards, but I followed all instructions and everything else fit in place and installed correctly. There was no hole at the base for the door to connect into. The door works but it is super flimsy. Everything else was perfect and easy to install.
Looking at the picture, can someone explain what happened?

The lid on my new grill was substandard
I have owned Genesis Weber grills for 40 years and never had this problem before. However, I bought this lower cost Spirit 315 grill because it had to fit in a smaller space in my new home.
After only 4 uses of this grill the outer lid became permanently burnished and mottled after putting it on high to burn off the charred food as described in the manual. When I called the Weber Warrantee help line they would not stand behind their product and the told me they would not repair it. That I would be left with having to live with this now ugly grill. Not a Genesis quality

I have owned many grills in my 56 years. This one is by far the best gas grill I have ever owned. I have always had to buy what I could afford which was always the cheapest one I could find. This time my son and I split the price for a Weber. American made and lightvyesrs better than the Chinese junk grills I was buying before.
