We are sorry to hear that your experience did not match your expectations. We certainly do not expect this, and we are confident that our support team can assist with this. We suggest preheating your grill on High close the lid, and only lift the lid once to flip your food. If doing cooks that require longer times, we suggest preheating your grill and using the indirect method. Turn off the middle burners and only leave the outer burners on. Do not open the lid during these types of cooks. Please contact our support team by phone or email. They will be glad to assist. Thanks!

Weber does not have conversion kits for this application due to safety reasons as there is a complexity of components involved, as well as the level of disassembly required.

Great Grill for about 3 years.
I loved this grill for about the first three years I owned it. Then it stated dying. All the lighting went out, as did the propane level device. Anything powered by the battery module stopped functioning with no clear path to repair it. Shortly after that the infrared burner essentially became a solid block of inoperable corrosion with no way of repairing it. At year four the lower section started rusting. Rusting bad. In fact, "rotting" may be a better word. After seven years, the bottom panel of the thing is about 80% gone. The front handles and accessory hangars that look like they might have been chromed are bubbling off and flaking. The hinges that hold the doors on rusted off a year ago, so I can't grill on windy days. I kept the grill covered, but it just went down hill from corrosion.

Hello Brian, We are very sorry to see the rusting happening on your bottom panel. We have reached out to your E-mail to further assist you.
reliable great grill - 9 years and going !!
I have owned this grill for 9 years, use it 2-3 days per week, slow cooked pork tenderloin, rotisserie chicken, and burgers. After 9 years of use the burners needed replacing, corrosion holes through the bottom housing. Customer service sent me the new pieces. No charge for parts or shipping! They honor their warranty. I replaced a few additional parts not covered. Well worth it. I am looking forward to another 10 years of use!

Awesome grill.
I got this for Father's day as a gift. The grill itself is awesome. Very sturdy easy to clean and has lots of cooking space. Only issues that I have is the same as a few others knob lights don't turn on.. were intermediate when I got 1st got it now they just don't work. Propane scale works when it wants to also.. new battery's didn't help.. still worth every penny.. hopefully it lasts another 10 years!

Low quality and very expensive
I have had the weber for a while. Already had to replace the burners twice, and now the housing is coming apart. Even having the cover full time. Not happy with the overall performance.

My second weber is a disappointment
I bought this a little over a year ago to replace a smaller unit that was showing it's age. Two big issues the frame has shifted and one door hands lower than the other by a substantial amount and as a result will not stay closed. It's not an adjustment issue that side of the frame has just dropped. The other issue is functional due to the way the lid only half clears the cooking surface, the lid traps heat and smoke and directs the heat and smoke right back in your face. It's a huge drawback.

Year 3 check in
Bought this in December of 2016 and still going strong. I do keep my grill covered when not in use, and the cover is still looking good! So far only issue I have had is with the thermometer, which was a simple replacement. Excellent quality !

Great grill but quality lacking on chassis!
I have had my grill for a few years now and the grill still works like it should! But unfortunately the quality is not built into the stand as the wheels failed, the chassis has rusted badly and the doors have rusted off.
by John Pkg
Good size and great for rotisserie.
I bought mine 5,65 years ago and it has been working good! The only warning I want to give is that it should be stored inside in a dry area when not in use and properly maintained.. Not all parts are Stainless and the paint on the side of the top cover does fall off, I have used a cover most of the time but some part has corroded badly anyhow. The handles on the doors have the same issue.
