This not your grandfathers Weber - poor quality
Was absolutely thrilled when I first bought this grill. The best Weber made. After only 2-3 years, it started to deeply rust. When the firebox was removed there was a ton of rust on the frame which Weber would not address. Couple years later the hood rusted through. 2023…. rusted through firebox and the frame rusted again, burners shot. Went to Weber claiming the grill was a lemon and wanted a replacement or refund. At this price you should be cooking, not pretending to be a body shop doing repairs.

SPECTACULAR GRILL-LOOKS FANTASTIC, COOKS LIKE A DREAM, LOOKS LIKE A MILLION BUCKS .
I've had a Weber Summit since 2001. Same model as this, just over 20 years old. It passed away recently. So I decided to step up and take the plunge and get the NEW WEBER SUMMIT GRILL equal to the old 1 I had in size and burners. But this new grill is something else. Built in rotisserie, rear infrared burner, heavy side burner, extra sear burner tube that really does the job, built in smoker box and upgraded storage area in cart. SHES A BIG TALL GRILL. AND SO DARN PRETTY. But this baby can cook. So many ways to use it, so many options, I just wish I could cook on it in my living room! But to give you an idea how much I love this grill, I am including a photo of it on our living room, representing my gift to me for Christmas. Of course my wife made me put it on the deck as soon as we finished opening presents, but was I happy. Trust me I had a horrible year and deserved this grill. Did I mention: she can cook! Do yourself a favor, buy this grill. You wont be sorry.

            Rusted out
I purchased this grill a few years ago and it was quite expensive being the top of the line model and to have it rust out to the point the door fell off is quite disappointing especially since it is a stainless steel model and always kept covered between uses

Thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your experience with corrosion on your grill. We are happy to help with some tips. If your grill is located in a coastal or humid area, or if chlorine is present in your environment, additional maintenance will be needed to keep up the appearance of the exterior steel parts. Below are a couple helpful tips. 1. At the first sign of staining/discoloration/surface rust we would recommend cleaning with stainless steel cleaner (ex. Noxon 7). Once cleaned, we recommend using a stainless steel polish (ex. Weber's brand) to keep it looking its best in-between cleanings. 2. Once a week we would recommend wiping down the grill with a wet towel or rag and then drying completely. 3. We would only recommend covering your grill if you know inclement weather is coming. 4. The quicker you get at a stain the easier it will be to clean off. Our Care team will be reaching out to follow up. Please look for our outreach soon. Thank you!
              Door rusted off
Have had this grill for 4-5 years. Great grill but the bottom rusted and the left door fell off. Expensive grill with great cooking features but poorly made on the bottom.

This grill is pricey, how ever I love all the features and the heavy material they seemed to use. The features put this thing over the top, love the lighted knobs and led lights on the handle. It cooks pretty good, you do need to preheat a solid 10-15 min to prevent nonsticking.

One plastic piece ruining its greatness
For such a great bbq and for something of this price the knobs to turn on the burners are awful — we’ve had this bbq for 1 year and all 6 have broken, then should be metal but the plastic gets hot and cracks.

Great grill but cabinet quality is unacceptable.
Terrific features. Love the sear station. Have owned nothing but Webers for 35 years. Cabinet side and base are sub-standard for a grill at this price point. Have deteriorated to the point that grill is potentially unsafe to operate. Rest of the grill is in perfect working order.

                      Damage
I got the grill Wednesday and we unboxed it and put it together yesterday. In the un packaging process I noticed that it was dented in the back. The dent is neither structural nor does it affect the functioning of the grill, so I’m not returning it but just disappointed to have so much for something to have it come in damaged.

Good grill but useless with rotting frame!
Bought this grill 7yrs ago. The frame started to rust immediately even though it was co ered and stored for the winter months. They need a better coating and better quality steel used on frame.

Well built except for the frame
I have had this grill for many years and it still looks great and performers great! I use it three to four times a week. My first Weber made me a Weber fan since it last over 11 years, so I bought an all stainless version the second time figuring it would last even longer. I had an issue with my first grill and Weber’s service was outstanding on getting resolved. Unfortunately the grill looks great but the frame has rotted out. Is this something that can be resolved?
