Answer This Question

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we currently do not offer installation services for our acoustic panels. However, this product features a self‑adhesive design, so installation is quite simple and can be done as a DIY project. Here are the basic steps: Clean the wall surface – make sure it is clean, dry, and smooth Peel off the backing paper and press the panel firmly onto the wall If cutting is needed, use a utility knife and cut from the back side of the panel

If applied to the ceiling will it cancel noise coming from rain on a metal roof?
      ByJun 20, 2026
      1 Answer |
      Answer This Question

It can offer some improvement, yet the effect may not meet your expectations. This acoustic foam panel is mainly designed to block indoor noise from leaking outside, while rain noise on metal roofs is structural sound transmitted into the room from outdoors.

              Easy to use
I like that each panel comes with a full sticker itself and easily to arrange the mapping. The foam is thicker than i thought and is good for absorbing some vibrations and block out some noise.

                Great.
I bought these about 2 weeks ago. I used them in my home. I like these and I think I will buy them again.

                  Great noise dampening tiles!
These acoustic panels are just what one needed to soundproof an area in my home. They were very easy to install since they had self adhesive in the back of them. I definitely will be buying some more to add to my music room, that way it can help if I’m recording. If you look at the pictures, you can see that there are grooves that help absorb sound.

                  Really Dampens Sound
When I received my twelve-pack of the Self-Adhesive Sound Absorbing Acoustic Squares, the package was only about three and one-half inches thick. When I freed it from its containment, I stood them up on the seat cushion of my recliner. I got busy and forgot about them for a couple of days. When I went back in there and looked at them, they were about a foot and a half thick, as you can see in the photo. The wall that I chose to apply it to is where an old wet bar used to be. I had rough plastered a large hole and needed to sand that down. After that, I found it extremely easy to peel the backing off each square and apply it to the wall. The twelve squares in the package were a perfect fit for the space I needed them. I put them in the space where my pet chinchilla's cage sits. They sleep in the daytime and are easily startled by sudden or loud noises, so the sound dampening effect was great. I tested it myself before and after applying the squares and found that they significantly deadened the noise. When I put Charlie back in the corner, he didn't seem as disturbed by my moving around in the daytime. It's hard to believe that something so simple and inexpensive could make such a difference, but they created a decent "dead zone" behind and beside his cage. This left both Charlie and me incredibly happy. I like the fact that, unlike many products with an adhesive backing, the backing cover came off easily and did not stick to the adhesive. They were amazingly easy to apply and have stayed well in place for a couple of weeks. Turning the pads in a pattern made an aesthetically pleasing look. I will buy more packs and line the entire lower space all the way around, after I build a bump-out wall over the old plumbing, which I can't remove. These sound absorbing pads are an inexpensive way to both create a sound-dead area and make it pleasing in appearance. I am very happy with this product.

                  Some sound deadening
I used this product I’m my basement ceiling to sound deaden the exhaust fan from the bathroom. You can sometimes hear it upstairs in the kitchen. I was able to apply the panels directly on the floor joist and subfloor of the ceiling. The adhesive is great and sticks very well. Also easy to cut with scissors. However the panels it self seemed kind of thin to provide much sound deadening. Maybe more panels are needed to have good sound reduction.

Great to use to reduce noise
Black set of 12 medium weight pliable foam pieces with baffles. One side has adhesive and can be stuck to a flat surface. The tiles are 12 x 12 that would be easy to trim to fit an area. We put the tiles on top of the ductwork in the basement to reduce heating noise. First night the tiles were on top of the ductwork made a HUGE difference in noise reduction.

Acoustic Noise Reduction Panels work. Kind of.
The 12 x 12 sound proofing panels are black in color and made of 1” thick foam. The panels are secured to the wall or panel with adhesive backing and are very easy cut, shape, bend and install. Likes: lightweight. Shapeable. Comes in pack of 12. No-brainer installation. Dislike: Adhesive contact may peel paint from wall and comes off easily from foam. Non removable. I recommend attaching to a sheet of foam board.

I like that each panel can be trimmed with an ordinary pair of scizzors.
I chose the 1" x 12" x 12" Square Self-Adhesive Sound Absorbing Acoustic panels to apply on the back wall behind my refrigerator. I like that each panel can be trimmed with an ordinary pair of scizzors. I also like that each panel has adhesive so you just have to peel off the backing and place it in the position you want. And last of all the panels have no noticeable odor, like some foam products can have.

                  Good quality
These soundproof panels we put up behind our TV to absorb the high frequency through the drywall into other rooms. The panels themselves are good quality and with them all together they will work for a small room, studio, or office. The only thing I would change is the stickiness of the panel backing. They stick but the moment you take the backing off you have to stick it right away, also some panels glue backing separated from the panel.

                  Soundproofing in office
These are fantastic little foam soundproofing tiles. I think they can be arranged to look good, but you could just as easily hide them behind a canvas print or something if you wanted to conceal them. They are thin, so they'd surely fit under or behind something. I have them in our home office and it does seem to help with the echo. I could probably make a few more and it would be a remarkable difference. They have peel and stick backing, I stuck them to a poster board and then nailed the posters to the wall. They are lightweight and easy to install.
