Beautiful Finish
This combination basket strainer and disposal flange were just what I needed for my new stainless steel kitchen sink. The finish on both are very nice and the metal (not plastic) is solid and has a nice weight to it. The basket strainer has just as small rubber gasket to form the seal with the drain, but works great. The disposal has a larger rubber seal that also does the job and looks modern. Installation is what you'd expect and comes with the brass nuts on the drain fixture. The quality is excellent and I expect this will last a long time.

Very high end kitchen basket strainer
This is a beautifully manufactured kitchen basket strainer assemble. Many have voiced concerns or nitpicked why the finishes do not last however when you order stainless steel, this issue is completely eliminated. Instructions clearly emphasize the use of silicone caulking to complete the installation of this basket however I’m a firm believer of plumbers putty when used in sparing amounts. Just use enough to allow excess putty to ooze out as you sock down on the locking nut. It helps when you also make use of a channel lock model 20 pliers along with a kitcheb drain spud tool so as to prevent marring up both basket and locking nut. Be sure and avoid use of plastic or pvc waste tubing especially if you discard pots of very hot pasta water since plastic and hot water do not co-exist long term. Be prepared to discard all your oll your old drain waste lines as you will need to completely replace older waste lines to the p-trap since this waste basket strainer is deeper in size than conventional kitchen waste baskets.
