    A:  Westek LED Moon Puck Lights run on 3 AAA batteries and have an approximate run time of 100 hours, based on the age/quality of batteries used. These puck lights are designed for short term use in work spaces, bedrooms, hallways, entryways, basements,,etc., when you are temporarily in those areas. It is not meant to be used as a night light. AmerTac does offer a full line of Westek night lights that can suit your needs for that purpose. Thank you.

      Q:I cannot get the back open to insert the batteries. There are no instructions- 3 small rectangles, a place to hand the light, a d 3 areas with lines on them. It is NOT INTUITIVE.

      A:  Hello Maryclaire, thank you for your question. This is in regard to a different item (LG3003W) which is a single puck. The three lines on the back are there to help grip the mounting bracket for removal. Recommended removal process is to put one thumb on two of the three grips while gripping the unit with each hand. Twist the mounting bracket to the left (counter-clockwise) to remove the mounting bracket and expose the battery compartment.

        A:  Hello JustElle, thank you for your question. There is a battery cover on the back. Pull the tab at the top of the cover towards the cover which will release for battery replacement.

          Lightweight, flexible, and gives you light in places where other options aren't feasible. For me, it's inside my garage as I come in the outside door. Getting a switched light was going to be super expensive because of my garage's quirks. This gives me the light I need at little cost. I have used these in a closet also. They are very versatile. Happy with this item.
