A:Â Look for this in your concrete products aisle. Our Home Depot in Virginia keeps this in the very far end of the store, past the construction wood. It's stored near the rebar (steel rods reinforcing concrete)

Answer This Question
A: Yes it will if left out in the elements but it would take a while. I’ve had mine out in yard on fences for 2 years and the surface is rusty but the wire does not lose its strength.

A:Â It will rust with time, but it is not a problem. It will turn your hands black if handled all day because it has an oily film on it. It lasted for 12 years as a grape arbor before I sold my home

All I needed this wire for was to tie some bundles of damaged fencing together. I had a pin headed teenager crash his mom's car into my back yard earlier this year. The angle at which the car hit not only smashed through the section of fence on the street-side of my back yard but it also jarred the entire back yard fence row so that it too needed replacing.
I had to cut the old wood fencing into small bundles in order to fit them into my trash can. I've been putting three to four bundles into my trash can on a weekly basis to avoid the further expense of making the long trip to the nearest land fill and paying them to let me leave these bundles there.
It's hard to see but I ended up replacing my entire back yard fence with new wood fencing I got from Home Depot as well. The insurance only paid for the part of my fence with the hole in it. Being chronically cheap like I am I found that the cheapest way to go with this repair was to buy what I needed for my nearby Home Depot.

A necessity for all kinds of projects, besides rebar tie. We built a retaining wall to stop wave erosion under our dock, securing logs with both zip ties and this tie wire. It is holding well so far (2 months).
