I've used probably 5 times and where the top/handle once...
I've used probably 5 times and where the top/handle once stayed put until I released it, it now is completely loose and swivels. This has allowed the whole thing to fall apart and become dented. It ultimately will not last as I haven't had this a month.

I am a popcorn lover especially theatre popcorn. Since covid 19 have closed down theaters, I searched for ways to get that movie theater popcorn I love. I did research and chose Whirley Pop Aluminum Popcorn Popper. I enjoy how easy and convenient it is now for me to get that popcorn taste I love.

Easy to use. Fantastic results! I use ordinary popcorn,(no need for the expensive gourmet stuff), and I get great results! Almost every kernel pops every time! I use ordinary peanut oil, and medium heat on the stove, so it doesn't smoke during popping, and I can use as little as a half-tablespoon of oil and still get great results. I have the model with the nylon gears, and I've popped at least 50 batches of popcorn with no problem! Some users say that the metal gears will outlast the nylon ones, so that may be one concern. Overall, it's a great popper and I recommend it highly.
