AnswerOur weathervane's do come with an adjustable base for mounting. It adjust from a 90 degree to flat surface.

Better quality than I expected. The arrow section needs to...
Better quality than I expected. The arrow section needs to have a way to secure it to the bottom post. It just sets directly on it. We like it very much, but had to add some pieces to keep the wind from taking away the top eagle section.

Disapointed
I was really disappointed when I received this in the mail. It just isn't as large as I envisioned it to be. It is made of metal, and seems to be of adequate strength. It however is very cheesy, from a distance it doesn't look to bad, but up close it looks cheap. I would never tell anyone I purchased It, instead I'll just say the shed builder threw it in as a bonus, no one would ever believe I bought this and frankly I am too embarrassed to admit it. I would send it back, but really, considering the time and cost of return I still loose out. Oh well, its true you get what you pay for.

Was impressed with the construction on the weathervane. It is made with a built in mounting bracket.
The weathervane is very nice for the price. It is lightweight, yet seemingly very durable. The eagle is not very detailed, but then it will be mounted on a roof, so that does not matter.
