Classy and sturdy. The bronze color and the detail on this mailbox will not disappoint. This is my second one. The first lasted about 13 years. The finish started to flake off, otherwise the mailbox itself was still good.

Cast Aluminum, heavy. Looks very nice.
We purchased a Whitehall mailbox and it came with two side address plates. We ordered the front plate to complete the project.
Ordering the door panel was interesting, but not too difficult. You have to download a PDF and then fill it out, which is then emailed to the whitehall company for fulfillment. Then you pay home depot. It's a little complicated and unnerving but worked fine for me. I ended up calling them after a week since there was no feedback that the order had been properly processed.
Installation was a little harder than I expected. The directions stated there was a tube of silicone included, but there was not. Not a big deal for me, I had a tube of clear silicone handy, so I just used it.
You also have to drill holes in the cover for the mounting screws. The were not exactly lined up, meaning you have to test the fit a few times while modifying the holes slightly. An extra set of hands is very helpful, testing the fit is a bit awkward and I didn't want to drop it on the asphalt and scratch it up.
Overall I'm very pleased with the look. We put our last name on the door (6 letters) and our address on the side panel. It's an impressive piece when complete.
