This sink had me at hello! Sometimes I do dishes rather than put them in the d/w and I always end up with water on the counter next to the sink. I have a small kitchen so did not want a dishrack on my counter taking up room. This sink is perfect! I'm in the process of finishing my kitchen renovation but even without the counter you can still see it's gorgeous AND super functional!!

Sink was what I expected, glad I bought from HD as the shipping was the issue. Sink was shipped in cardboard box with no packing so on the third try I finally got an unbroken sink though still scratched from the cardboard staples. HD worked with me to resolve this issue.

Love the look and practicality of this sink. Installed easily and everyone notices the sink as the vocally point, after the amazing new kitchen window. The side drainage is so amazing - holds the sponge after usage and quick rinse a glass to dry instead filling the dishwasher. Highly recommend this if you love farm house sinks , reminds me of the one my grandparents had on the farm when I was going up! Great memories to build around this one now.

I knew I wanted a fireclay sink and had been on various websites looking for the great deal. I read many reviews on the Whitehaus brand before deciding on this sink. I have always like the 70/30 sinks in the past, but this large, single basin sink is winning me over. I have used it for about three weeks and I love it. The large basin drains nicely, and the drain board is the look and practical functionality that I was looking for. When I bring produce in from the garden I like that I can rinse a lot off at a time and then set it on the drain board to drip into the sink. I obviously also use the drain board for the small bit of hand washing that gets done (until my dishwasher arrives this week). The drain board is awesome. Our grandma's were smart like that! This sink was shipped to our local Home Depot store, where we picked it up. I was surprised that it came literally in a huge cardboard box - no extra packaging to ensure that it did not break. Maybe it was packaged better when it arrived to Home Depot, but regardless - it was just a simple cardboard box at the online order desk when we arrived to get it. The box had a dent in it, so we unpacked it while still in the store to be sure it was not damaged. It appeared to be fine, so we took it home. The most difficult thing about this sink was modifying the sink base to make it sturdy enough to hold this heavy sink. I thought it was odd that there are no installation instructions with this sink. We guessed on how sturdy the base cabinet needed to be, and probably overkilled it a bit, but better safe than sorry! The sink is not uniform due to the style, so we had to use shims when placing the plywood for the countertop to be level. This is the reality of using this style sink. There was about ⅛" difference in the measurements from one side to the other. Now all I need are some grand-babies to wash in this giant sink and my heart will be totally won over by this beautiful, functional, practical, conversation piece! It is the cornerstone of my emerging kitchen, and once the quartz countertops are laid I can't imagine how nice it will look. I am thrilled with the sink (and faucet) to tell the truth.

I ordered this sink hoping that my counter guy could install it with my laminate countertops. I was in luck! Not only is it beautiful, it's functional , too. Extremely well-made and so beautiful. The dish drainer is so practical for us as we do a lot of small dishwashing by hand. I've ordered a rack to put in the bottom to protect it from pans, etc. and expect it to last forever.

I was shopping for a farmhouse sink long before we started the remodeling. I choose this one because of overall function, looks and reviews. I have not been disappointed. Very large, deep basin. Drainboard part is just right for just rinsing or washing a couple of items. Due to the handmade nature of sink, we found it wasn't completely level and had to do a little extra shimming for the install. You do need to be be more careful with this material as it can chip or crack.

The first sink that came had a badly damaged corner due to inadequate packaging, but with a phone call, Home Depot took care of the return and sent another right away since we were on a deadline with our kitchen project. Great customer service. The second sink came intact. There is a very slight bow in the long side, but I attribute that to the properties of fireclay, and when installed it does not show (we turned it so the bowed side was at the back). It was also slightly off-square, but again with installation and caulking the imperfection does not show. We've been using this sink 3 months and it is absolutely beautiful and everything I wanted for my remodeled country kitchen. I especially love its generous size and depth for our large family, and the embedded drainboard - we turn glasses upside down there to dry in between drinking, and any rinsed items that aren't going into the dishwasher. We installed it so that it sits on the opposite side of where the dishwasher sits; I would recommend this for less dripping while loading dishwasher. One more note: we used a standard In-Sinkerator drain/disposal and it works great with this sink (not the special drain that was recommended on installation directions).

This is everything and more that I was looking for. It was well packed no damage during shipping. Very heavy I had to have help bringing it in my home. I highly recommend this sink! Shipped very quickly.

Expensive but beautiful

Even better quality than I expected! Best price I could find was at Home Depot. Delivered very quickly, packed very well. Is not installed yet as soon as it is I will update with pictures.
