      A:  Hello Des: Ours shuts off with the call of heat, but if your looking for something programmable or digits, you can use any other type/brand of thermostat you would like as long as it is millivolt compatible. We do offer a digital thermostat that will work for this heater and it is P332493. Thank you

        A:  This unit doesn't come with a blower. There is a blower accessory that can be purchased separately and it is 100CFM . The part number is 2901 and will require two blowers if you want it to blower from both sides. Thank you

          It performs exactly as it was advertised. The blowers on either side make it more efficient in a six room cottage. The blowers on high rattle but very effective on low. The thermostat was defective so plan to purchase your own. I am thankful for Williams as wall furnaces are a rarity.

          I recently purchased this wall heater just in time to try it out due to the first cold nip in the air. Of course we had to first light the pilot, then open all the house doors and windows, to let the newness burn off. After that, we had the experience of turning up the thermostat to see how it warmed up our home. We were quite pleased with it's performance, and how quickly it warmed up the whole house. The heater has been installed in the wall between the living room and a hall way which leads to two bedrooms and a bath. It is my pleasure to recommend this heater depending on the size of your home. My home is a two bedroom, one bath, with kitchen and two car garage. The 50,000 BTU is more than adequate for this size home, and even good for a home a bit larger.

          Heater works very well. Have used Williams in the past.

          The heater works. That is what I expect out of a new heater. It is reasonably quiet. Compared to the frigid temps we had with our broken heater, I appreciated the blasting warmth.

          Does a great job
          I had this unit installed to replace floor heaters in a historic home. This is my second winter, and I am happy with the job it does, and energy cost. It does a good job of heating the rooms it is in and adjacent rooms, about 1000 square foot of my 1400 sq. Ft. home. The two back rooms( about 400 sq. ft., one having an outside door, are heated, but temperature is about 5 degrees less than the rest of the house. This is not an issue as supplementary heat can be used here. The system is quiet and quick to warm the room. Its delightful to stand in front of when coming in from the cold!
