This moisture-resistant Wilsonart Adhesives 32 fl. oz. Construction Adhesive will dry clear and is great for providing high levels of adhesion for interior woodwork. Sets in about 30 minutes. Use with Wilsonart Laminate for a professional look.

    A:  As long as the H20 doesn’t soak into the cork you should be fine. Remember you would need to coat both surfaces. One gallon of H2O will cover 357 bonded ft/2. You have 24 sq. ft. of cork and 24 sq. ft of wood for a total of 48 sq. ft. You will have plenty for your project. Thank you for your inquiry, Wilsonart Engineered Surfaces Customer Service

      A:  Wilsonart H2O will cover 357 ft./2. So this would be coverage on the laminate as well as the substrate. So the 3 x 10 would be 30 square feet and the substrate would be another 30 for a total of 60 square feet. So you need at least 2 - 32 oz. jugs for your coverage @ 3 dry grams ft./2.         Q:Can this be used in a bathroom shower application? I want to use it for plastic shower wall installation. Apply the glue to the back of the panels and glue them to the wall. The only uses are for counter tops.

        A:  You could use the H2O water base adhesive to bond the laminate to a wood substrate of some type then bond the panel to the wall using some type of construction adhesive and/or fasteners of some type. You would need to make sure the seams are covered with 100% silicone so no water or moisture gets behind the panel. Please call us at 800/433.3222 if you need additional information.           Did not hold down laminate
          Used a professional installer. This glue is not holding down the laminate. Installer has returned three times and has given up on this glue. Told us that he has never seen an adhesive work so poorly. Now we have to start over, such a waste!

            Slow to dry but no VOCs
            Retired cabinet maker/installer here. This is the first time that I put down a laminate counter top in 20 years. Back in the day, contact cement dried in minutes, and you needed good ventilation or a respirator if you didn't want to get high. This product doesn't have VOCs, but takes over a half hour to dry. But the bond seems equal to the older products.
