Some people complain that it leaves spots, or streaks. First thing: use this out of direct sunlight. Either on an overcast day or on the side of the house not in direct sunlight, or once the sun starts to go down and things get cooler. Otherwise it will dry too fast and you'll have a mess on the windows. Okay, assuming you use it during the cooler part of the day not in direct sunlight, you may still have some spots. You know what? This is not as good as having someone remove each pane and clean it manually. Nor is it as good as going out there to each window with solution and a squeegee. Or paying a professional to do either. But this costs $9 for a whole house (mine anyway), and gets the windows pretty clean and to about 90% of the equivalent of a professional cleaning job at $7 per pane (not per window, per pane). One rain storm and that's where you are anyway. I'll buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best window cleaner this side of the Pecos!! My husband heard about this from his brother and then NAGGED me for weeks to get some. I gave in yesterday thinking "What does a man know about cleaning windows??" Holy Cow!! This stuff really works. HE did the work and I was the most impressed of the two of us. I'm picky. Yup, this an items every home should have. . . . and how about the windows on the RV?? That will be the next step. Thanks Windex folks! P.S. I just e-mailed six gals and put them on this product. Gotta share good news!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do you have refill solution for Windex Outdoor Sprayers? Product is wonderful. Have used it for years. This year I could only find one of the sprayers. Do you sell the refill solution? We have lots and lots of windows and buying the refill solution would fabulous!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, if it would stay connected to hose! Love the way this product works cleaning my 24 windows. The only problem I have is it separates from the hose connection too easily and I end up getting soaked! I have bought several and everyone of them does this! I spend more time trying to reconnect the hose than cleaning windows. I have tried everything to keep this from happening to no avail. Please consider redesigning the connection so that it is not so flexible, perhaps longer where it is not so easy to separate from the hose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! This makes cleaning outside windows a breeze! Cleaning windows in the house isn't my favorite chore, and I like cleaning the outside of the windows even less! I don't have those fancy windows that flip out for easy cleaning so it's pretty tough to get them done. This product makes it so easy and quick to get my outside windows clean without a major frustration of having to drag paper towels, cleaner, and a ladder around my house. I like how easy this is to use, just attach to a garden hose and turn the dial to rinse to wet the surface and then change the dial to clean and spray it again. Then it's as easy as letting the suds sit for about 15 seconds and then rise clean and that's it! The windows dry to a clean and steak free finish. I think they come out as good as using spray and paper towels without the hassle and aggravation. I can't see myself doing this any other way now! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The windows are streaked and I used this as my windows are two stories up. I should have known that it would not have gotten better since the last time I used it. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to use?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I've been using this product for 3 years now, and always loved it. Easy to use and my windows loo... I've been using this product for 3 years now, and always loved it. Easy to use and my windows look great. In previous years, the bottles were green. This year I purchased two bottles, and they are now blue. No big deal, I assumed they'd work the same. Well, unfortunately, they do not. There seems to be a problem with the part of the nozzle that threads onto the hose. Every time I turn on the water, the bottle flies off leaving me soak and wet. I purchased two bottles, so I thought maybe there was a problem with the one bottle so I tried the other bottle; same thing happened. I also have two hoses, so I switched hoses it case the problem was with my hose; nope, same problem the bottle go flying once I turn on the water. I never had a problem with the green bottles. I'm so disappointed because I've recommended this product to everybody. I'm not sure what I'm going to use now to clean my second story windows. Not to mention the approximately $18.00 I'm out for buying two bottles of this product which I'm unable to use.
