Easy to install, wall mount

Was easy to install. Removed a system that was installed in the 60s, this went into it’s place easily.

It was supposed to be all stainless. Even the pictures show it being stainless. When it came in the part of the vent that goes up is white. A bright white. The hood fan itself is stainless but the vent pipe is white. It makes no sense. We checked the part number to verify that we were sent the correct one and it is correct. So it is a factory issue sticking the wrong color in the box.

When you buy something new to you, it can be daunting to install. This wasn't too bad to install. The chimney was a little tricky to figure out, but I figured it out and it looks great! I love the look of the lights with my stone backsplash.

This product looks great. I already purchased several for different projects. The only thing I don’t like it’s the replacement screens are kind of hard to find and price is high. Screens can’t be purchase at Home Depot.

Looks great and I like the separate buttons for the light and 3 fan speeds. The outside flap flutters loudly when it is the least bit windy. It is a thin light weight flap. There’s got to be a way to weight it down.

Looks good, but doesn't do a great job of dissipating smoke. I still have to run an additional fan and open my windows when I cook anything even remotely smokey. Easy to install. We have it venting out of a hole in the roof, which we thought would make it better at capturing and expelling smoke, but it didn't.

Even though I read the reviews stating it’s cheaply made, I took a chance anyways. It’s half the price of the only ones like it Home Depot stocks. So if you’re mounting to tile, you better get some anchors because this unit only comes with hardware for drywall. Also, the cord is at the top where the chimney attaches so if you’re wiring direct you’ll have to do some field adjustments to drop the cord into the unit to match up. And if you’re installing in place of a cabinet below a soffit, make sure you leave enough room for the shorter vent stack so you don’t have to trim it. After trimming, I slid it in and will end up caulking it because it’ll be a pain to try attaching it with the supplied fasteners. This unit is really made for a clear span to the ceiling, be it 8’ or 9’, but not shorter. It is cheaply made and flimsy, but it’ll do the job for now. Had I known the things I described ahead of time, I’d have probably installed the cabinet and bought $40 under cabinet model. It looks good, but not engineered very well.
