How much weight can the bottom shelf hold? It feels very flimsy

AnswersI would not store a bowling ball in it, but we store all of our manuals and warranties for all appliances and tools we own, probably just a couple pounds. Haven't had any issues but haven't stored anything of substantial weight. Not sure that helps, but it is more of a convenience for us than a place to store anything.

AnswersYes it can it has a 30% gloss finish, You would need to sand it down to make sure the paint or stain adheres to it. We also have this item in an Espresso finish.

Setup was fairly easy, it requires a standard screwdriver. All the required parts were there to be assembled. It is sturdy and lightweight, the color is the same as pictured. The only reason i wouldnt give it a 5 star is the pegs keep falling out, you just have to twist them in but they dont stay secure. I would recommend this product, especially for the price.

It is a little flimsy/cheap and one of them kinda wobbles but that could just be that we put it together wrong? You kinda get what you pay for, ya know. They’re still good and they were cheap so. They look nice in the room! We wanted cute white nightstands and these do the job.

Easy to assemble. Pretty good quality for the money. It is not solid wood all over, but I read the reviews before purchasing. I changed our the hardware for a gold to match lamps. Looks great and functions well for the purpose we purchased them for.

Perfect little nightstand. I got the walnut brown one and it’s a great color. The assembly can seem a little difficult at first but once you take a few seconds to go through it, it’s super easy. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble. The side pieces don’t seem super sturdy but unless you’re like kicking this thing or something it shouldn’t be a problem. It has a lot of space for storage and a lot space on the counter. All in all I’m happy. The only issue I had was that there is no drawer stop so the little drawer on top can just come right out if you pull it all the way. I tried putting the little end nubs they give you on the drawer to stop it but they come out pretty easily (even after hammering them in) but no big deal. I just have to remember not to pull it all the way out. Overall I’m super satisfied.

It's the perfect color. The weight of it is lighter than anticipated. No issues putting it together. Pleased with the outcome. Only complaint is that the bottom shelf/board isn't as sturdy/thick as I expected. Other than that I can't complain.

It was very easy to put together. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the bottom shelf is weak and does not hold items well. I guess the I could add a center board to reinforce it. I ordered some cute knobs to go with it and it looks great!
