A little pricey but great camera!
This Christmas my neighbor gave me a home depot gift card to cover half. So I went and picked it up in store. I installed it outside my garage. You will need a micro screwdriver to install like I did. Drilled hole, ran wires through the garage.

Excellent! Watch out for bad reviews due to bad wifi
These cameras are fantastic I have five of them in one location four in another everything I could ask for ! the bad reviews on here are all due to poor wireless Internet if you got a poor wireless Internet signal of 3 MB or less then don’t expect to get good quality video on demand it’s not gonna happen. Anything above that 3mb excellent video quality and excellent access to stored videos through their servers.

ompletely unbiasd review of an AmazonEcho Show5 personal smart device with video: Congratulations, you just bought a $44 clock radio. Kidding aside, it's a kinda cool toy. If you bought it to compliment an existing Ehco dot you might be slightly underwhelmed. It's kind of like your first erector set. you get out of it what you put into it. If this is your first adventure in home automation and "smart things"you might find it amazing if you have the patience for a lot of diddling and "programming." The good thing is, if you have already invested that time with your Echo Dot it picks up seamlessly. be prepared to relegate your dot to function in another room unless you like dueling
alexas when you give it a command or request. Video quality is underwhelming unless you are one of those boobs that enjoys watching"The Breakfast Club" on your iphone on a 2 hour flight to Atlanta. One of my disappoinments was, though touted to interface seamlessly with my blink surveilance network. It will not (at time of writing) automatically show an activated camera. you can tell it to view said camera, and it will. Unless you keep your home defense mechanism on the end table, by the time it goes through the motions,your perpetrator will likely be gone.
Again, you'll get out of it what you put into it.... Enjoy your alarm clock. Audio quality is slightly better than the dot if you enjoy your favoritePrime music on it, or bluetooth it to better system.

This unit works just as described in the advertisement. Installation was straight forward, but required an adaptor to mount from the ceiling. It's been installed for a week with no problems. Previously (about 4 months ago), I installed the Ring Doorbell. Both units provide the outdoor information and security we were looking for.
