Unfortunately, the company has changed the product (see attached photo - remote control no longer matches the one listed). This product used to work so well, even when using the remote from another room. Now, you can be standing right next to the outlet and sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. We've tried three sets of this new model and they are all problematic. Returning.

Please do everyone a favor and don't waste your time or money on this disappointing outlet remote. The easiest way to explain why you shouldn't buy this is because it doesn't work. If you press the on button, the odds are it will not turn on. Plug 1 never turned on ever (featured in picture). Plug 2 turned on about 50% on the time. It turned off about 75% of the time. Plug 3 was the hero plug of the bunch and worked about 75% of the time when turning on and turned off every time. There is a fun red light on the outlet that it on when the plug is turned on. It is also a friendly reminder that the plugs don't work. The remote is of a low quality and it is possible that the remote is the problem that pushing the buttons does not complete the circuit to turn them on. There is no easy way to open the remote and possibly solve this problem. Yes I tested my outlets. Yes I tested the light plugged into this plug. Pros - It came with a battery for the remote - You can return it and buy something that works To add insult to injury, even though this product is not stocked in stores and you have to order it online, you have to return it to the store. These plugs will not only disappoint you, but will cost you money. I guess at least now I understand how my dad feels about me.

Good quality product with the features I needed. Easy to set up and use. Only issue that turning on and off can be a little slow in responding.

On- off controller does not work the first time, you always have to press buttons 3-4 times to work.If the controller worked like it’s supposed to, I would give 5 stars,instead of 3 stars.

The range is not what was indicated, and you almost have to point the remote directly at the wall plug-in.
