I have a couple of older LG Android phones that...
I have a couple of older LG Android phones that I use with the Alfred app as interior surveillance cameras, and I had them plugged in 24 hours a day - UNTIL the battery swelled and knocked the back off the phones because they were constantly connected. Using this timer to knock the power off for at least 12 hours a day allows the batteries to discharge and then recharge properly, so these two timers do a great job for me!

Works as expected. You can program for on/off in 30 minutes interval. The only issue I found was, it did not work when I connected it power strip and the device was horizontal. As soon as I connected the device to regular power outlet in wall ( device is now vertical), it started working.
