A:  This line of products is not being discontinued. (We are working on getting the 'Out of Stock' corrected.) You do have a couple of other options, in the mean time - the 2-1/2" Pro Chinex Angle Sash Brush (203193290) and the 3" Pro Chinex Flat Brush (203193298).

      A:  It's an expensive brush to use for urethane. Great for paints but I'd recommend a less expensive brush.

        A:  You could, but I recommend the Wooster Pro White China Bristle to avoid leaving brush marks.

            A:  The Wooster Pro Chinex will work with the spar urethane, but the Wooster Pro White China might be the better option. It will pick up the coating better. The 2 in.                 I have two older 2-1/2 in. Pro Nylon/Polyester Thin Angle Sash Brushes, which I used to paint many raised panel doors and to cut in to paint many bedroom, living room, and kitchen walls and ceilings. The problem was that, after a few uses, I simply could not clean the interior bristles of the brush well enough to prevent it becoming a Petrified Brush. I am trying to clean one of these brushes overnight in a Brush Klean solution right now. Needing to paint our guest room this weekend, I bought the Wooster 2-1/2 in. Pro Chinex Angle Sash Brush, thinking I was buying the same brushes I had. It turns out that the Pro Chinex Angle Sash Brush paints as well or better than the Wooster Nylon/Polyester brush does, but the Chinex bristles clean up so much easier! I can spread the bristles on the Pro Chinex Angle Sash Brush and see that there is no paint left behind. (I cleaned the brush with water and PROClean Hand Cleaner with pumice, which I recommend as well.)

                  If you need to paint something, this is a great brush to choose. While some might use it for graffiti purposes, that is illegal and not recommended. It is better suited for jobs around the house or the office. I found fewer rogue hairs with this brush, the kind that end up in your paint and ruin the job while snarling at you menacingly. I find this important because I, like you, have no time for random paintbrush hairs in the thing that I just painted. Buy it!
