I've used the Wooster brand roller covers for years in my business and they have always been high quality products. If you are going to spend your time painting use a high quality roller cover like this one and your time will be well spent, you will spend less time and you will get a better finished job. This roller cover holds a good amount of paint and it applies it evenly with no shedding.

High quality paint roller cover for smooth surfaces. My new "go to" roller cover
Note: I received the “Wooster Pro 9” x ⅜” Pro Paint Roller” free from Home Depot’s “Seeds” program. Home Depot only asked that I provide an honest review.
This is a very nice paint roller suitable for smooth surfaces. It held paint well, gave a nice, even coating, minimal ghosting, and did not “shed”. I used it first with primer, then with interior latex paint. It cleaned up well in between (about as easily as a roller cover can be to clean)
WHAT’S GOOD:
- Fits snugly on a standard 9” roller
- Holds paint well
- Provides a nice, smooth finish
- Good value
WHAT’S NOT:
- Nothing! It's great!
SUMMARY:
It’s tempting to buy cheaper roller covers, especially if you don’t bother cleaning them and dispose of them after a room is finished, but the cheap ones tend to have an uneven nap that sheds. This one is a good, dense nap that applies paint smoothly and doesn’t shed, resulting in a professional-looking finish. It’s worth cleaning and reusing

Brush performed quite well. Didn’t leave defined brush strokes as with some other brushes. Nice smooth finish!
