I purchased these for my "She Shed' a while back and have to say it was a good purchase at a great price for a quality product. Every time I went to my shed to work the doors would slam against my shed or shut with such force I new I have to do something before my shed walls or doors were damaged. With occasional strong winds on our property this helped control that issue quite a bit. Now that my husband has put up his 'He Shed" I purchased these again for his and even installed them for him. It also came in a black color and that's what I used on both sheds. The only thing we need now is something to hold the doors open while we work inside, but at least now our doors aren't slamming against the buildings even in the slightest of breezes.

Both of Mine work great, after installing them and getting them adjusted I forgot about them until a couple of times the wind took the door and it did not slam into the side of the house. Since both of the screen doors were new, I think it was a good investment.

    Simple but not so strong
I was happy when I installed this and it seemed to work great. However an windstorm opened my storm door for a few hours and ultimately bent the hooks on the spring to the point the chain separated and was no longer holding the door back. Door closer hinges and brackets on my door needed replaced. They are sending me a new chain, but I'd rather not have had to spend the $100 to fix my door.
