Q:How can I purchase another wide bit for my Electric Jack hammer?

Answer This Question

A:  1-1/8" hex shank for the bit size on this one, something like this bit would work with it https://www.homedepot.com/p/STARK-USA-4-3-in-x-16-in-x-1-1-8-in-Hex-Steel-Asphalt-Cutter-Chisel-Bit-for-Electric-Demolition-Jack-Hammer-61114-H1/319376154

Q:Looking to remove a tile floor (installed in approx 1983). The area is approximately 750 sq ft. Would this tool do the job? I have a Sawzall but I don?t think that will handle tile removal. Thanks

    Answer This Question

A:  This one would power through that pretty fast, you may want to use a scraping chisel to make it faster though that way you can go in larger areas instead of using the smaller one included to slowly try to loosen them. https://www.homedepot.com/p/STARK-USA-4-3-in-x-16-in-x-1-1-8-in-Hex-Steel-Asphalt-Cutter-Chisel-Bit-for-Electric-Demolition-Jack-Hammer-61114-H1/319376154 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Stark-3-in-x-16-in-Cast-Metal-Scaling-Chisel-for-Demolition-Hammers-61115-1/311513448

        Nice tool
Good tool for the price. Had to make post holes for a gate at the ranch which is mostly rock with little top soil. This beast took care of it with ease. Just like some stated about adding oil before use it was kinda typical thing i.e. lawnmower and chainsaws need oil and gas added when you puul them out of a box. It would of been nice if the oil came with it. The only thing that would be a little better is the case. It could of been a little thicker plastic and actual storage spot inside just for the bits. Other than that im completely satisfied with this purchase. I pretty much got my money worth out of it already

Powerful tool gets the job done
So far, the XtremepowerUS 2200W Jack Hammer works perfectly for me, breaking up heavy, high-clay Vegas soil using the asphalt cutter bit. The jack hammer is almost heavy enough by itself to trigger the contact, so just a small down force is needed. Was disappointed it shipped with almost no oil, and no indication what oil was required. You wouldn’t even know oil was required – hidden deep in the manual. No customer support, so from searching other manufacturers, guessed that 10W40 was correct. Also from the Web, found how critical the oil is and I suspect this caused the early failures some folks reported. In summary, the tool works great for me, but you have to reduce the rating for the poor instructions and the fact that a critical component – oil – was not included.

        No support on hammer
The hammer came time. Good price for what it is. Only problem is there was no oil in the bottle they sent with it and does not tell you what to use. The other thing is it didn't come with the chisel bit that was supposed to be there. Can't get intouch with any one for answers or where is the chisel bit that was suppose to be with it. Home depot is no help even though it's bought threw them.

It works like it should. However sometimes it doesn't go into hammer mode right away, especially when going through softer material
