If it’s an sds hammer, yes
It will fit any "SDS-Plus" hammer drill. It will NOT for an SDS-Max hammer drill. It is also not designed to fit drills with adjustable chucks (like what most drills have).
Hello John1173! These have a 180 day return policy similar to many name brand of SDS-Plus bits on the market. These types of bits are subjected to harsh environments and are, in my opinion, a consumable. Good luck John1173!
They should. SDS is SDS unless it's SDS Max
Mine was missing a couple bits. I have to return it.
The Ryobi P222 hammer drill appears to be listed as using SDS-plus bits. If that is the case, this set should work for you as the bits in the set are SDS-plus.
CaptainSuds, speaking from experience here; I would NOT recommend doing what you are asking, sir! A SDS Rotary/Hammer Drill is required for this set of tools you are inquiring about. From a safety standpoint alone, attempting to use these bits in the chuck you are suggesting, especially in a rotary application is NOT safe. Here is the SDS Rotary Hammer Drill I use most: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-20-Volt-MAX-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-1-in-SDS-Plus-Brushless-L-Shape-Concrete-Masonry-Rotary-Hammer-Tool-Only-DCH273B/206319947 Here are a few options: https://www.homedepot.com/s/sds%2520max%2520rotary%2520hammer?NCNI-5 Good luck, sir!
Regular SDS drills are the same, no matter the brand. But there are SDS, and SDS Max, which are different. As long as your dewalt tool is the regular SDS, it will work.
Not sure what size your drill requires, but this set is sized for SDS-plus bits. It will NOT fit SDS-Max drills.
These are SDS drill bits, so make sure that your tool is compatible with SDS bits. NOT -plus or -max. That said, these will fit in a 1/2 inch chuck on a regular drill but they are really intended for hammer drills with SDS chucks.
