A:  You would put the alarm body and the pass reset button on the inside of the house. One contact on window and one contact on window framing. SPq Brands

        The gate alarm works fine. The only drawback is the inability to silence it without removing the battery when the gate needs to be open for more that 15 seconds for things like maintenance.

        Works as described and sufficient to pass an inspection. The design doesn’t lend itself to easy daily use as you can not leave a door open and enjoy a fresh morning’s air because the alarm doesn’t have a bypass that lasts more than 15 seconds.
