you don't need a kit, it has an adjustable extension key
Yes, provided the key you want to match is an SC (Schlage)-type keyway. Our locksmith rekeyed the deadbolt to match the keys we already had (for this and other doors in the building).
I have not heard it myself but if you don't have the bluetooth module it would be an audible sound. If bluetooth you will receive a message through the app.
My guess is that the wifi or zwave receiver module signal is very weak at your lock location. This will use more battery power as it works to stay connected. We see a similar issue with wireless alarm transmitters when there are obstructions (ie.. electrical wiring, hvac ducting, aluminum siding, etc.) between the wifi source or zwave receiver and the wireless device.
Yes it is a mechanical lock works with key no matter what the digital part is doing
From what I understand is that the key feature on the lock will always be usable and available to open the door, similar to a lock without the keypad entry, if all codes are deleted or removed. The keypad entry is available for simplicity and convenience.
Hi - Yes, this works with Samsung SmartThings but it does NOT work with Samsung Wallet. Hope that helps
