3 outlet GFCI
I currently have this plugged into one of the ceiling outlets in my shop. Quite often I'm using several different tools (not at the same time) and this allows me to keep them all connected. The main reason I purchased this was for when I'm working outside. It gives some extra protection and allows multiple things to be connected. I would purchase this again.

Add outlets and a GFI
Beefy 12/3 extension is a good way to triple your plug capacity at the end of an extension cord.
Lighted power block makes it easy to find the block in low light conditions. GFI is there for safety in case your jobsite isn’t already GFI protected.
Because the GFI block is so massive, this is better suited to connecting to an extension cord. If you try to plug it in to an outdoor outlet, the door hardware can either prevent connection, or keeps the conductors exposed.

Excellent GFCI Lighted Power Block
I ordered the Yellow Jacket 2 ft. 12/3 SJTW Right Angle GFCI Heavy-Duty Cord with three Multi-Outlet Power Light Block. Since I live in a hurricane prone area, I’m in constant need of a great power block. This one is heavy duty and has a light that indicates when it is receiving power. I love that it is GFCI because it has the built-in test/reset button. With a 15 amp wire, I have less worry of it over-heating from the amount of electricity used when pulling electric from our gas generated generator. This is an excellent adapter with a great safety feature built-in. Highly recommend.

Power protection when you need it.
The Yellow Jacket 2 feet long GFCI Heavy Duty Cord with Multi-Outlet (3) Power Light Block is a great safety item for protecting against electrical shots in a construction environment. The outlets are Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protected. The GFCI works by measuring the electrical current on the hot side of the power source and comparing it to the electrical current returning to the neutral side. If these are not equal, then a short exists and the built-in breaker automatically trips and turns off the power to the outlets on the cord to prevent an electrical shock. When power goes to the 3-outlet block, the block lights up. The heavy-duty power cord utilizes 12 gauge 12/3 wire and is very flexible. The cord comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty from Woods. This is a must-have item for anytime you are running extension cords at a work site, whether it’s inside or out, for protection against electrical shots. three plug gfci outlet cord
I have used various three plug cords in the past. I have also had some of the outlets go bad causing a problem to use them. In addition, I have on rare occasions ran tools which overloaded the circuit causing a breaker to flip. With the GFCI plug , I can simply reset it and continue to work rather than going to the panel to reset. the light in the clear plug lets you know that you have power.

Heavy Duty, Works great
I got this GFCI extension because it is 12 gauge, unlike most, and it has the GFCI function. When I'm out on a job and needing to power my table saw and miter saw with only a single 50' cord, I want the added safety of the GFCI, plus I don't want the wire overheating due to the current draw or the saw motors tripping. This product seems to get the job done. It looks like it can take abuse. The outlets are nice and tight and spaced far enough apart. I like it.

Top Notch Heavy Duty Cord
I love being able to offer serious protection for myself when operating tools outside or anywhere near water. This three outlet, Heavy Duty GFCI protection is ideal for that job!
I like the right-angle design of the plug-in side because that's where the test/reset is built in. Designed this way the plug is flat against something solid when you use the test/reset. The three outlet business end is really convenient for multiple tools, holiday lights, and the like. The outlet end also has a built-in light to show you the power is making it to the cord.
Finally, the cord is built to take it. It's thick, heavy, and makes you feel confident it will take care of you. And that's what we want and need.
