Great vise, got tired of wimpy, cheap, undersized work holding vises. With this vise the bench will give way before this vise will. I like the smoothness of the opening, closing and rotation. Holds pipe well and I picked up the non marring soft jaws which work well.

Used this vise in a home workshop.
It looks great, but after two years, the thread on the vise has broken, and it no longer works. I would have expected a vise of this size and cost, to hold up to a lot more than it did. Also the vise jaws, don't hold their alignment, when clamping a part in a offset position. This shows that the quality of the vise, is not good.

It seems to be very good for the money. Turning the handle is a little rough, I'm not sure if this will smooth hour as I use it more but it doesn't appear to affect tightening the vise. I like that the jaws do not have extreme cleats, but I still bought the non-marring jaw set. Works good so far.
