It is specially designed to remove scuffs, fingerprints, grease, food, ink, marker, rubber, lipstick and crayons from walls, ceilings, woodwork, painted surfaces, vinyl coverings, and washable wallpaper.     Might work for what your needs are, but I got it strictly for inside walls. Instead, I would recommend the Grease Beast ...Outdoor Soap-Infused X-Large Heavy-Duty Odor and Bacteria Resistant Scrub Sponges (6-Pack). The SKU number is Internet #307811395 Model # GB4410. They sell for about $16.99 for a 6-pack.

    I wouldn’t. It’s only to be used on painted walls or trim work. I wouldn’t risk damage to an antique. Hope this helps. :)

    Left stains on paint
    This wall cleaner purports to be safe for painted walls. I energetically cleaned all the woodwork in my new house with this in one go and now have to contend with the legacy of this cleaner. It also left stains on walls. Pretty much a nightmare.

    Worked BUT Stained My Wall
    Decided to use this on a couple light food stains on my kitchen wall near our trash can. It got rid of the food stains. HOWEVER, it left these shadowy marks/stains behind. They’re even more noticeable when you’re standing off to the side. Our home is a new build (that we’ve barely been in a month) with flat paint.

    Took off 20 years worth on cigarette nicotine. I had to rinse a few times cuz the situation I had I recommed that you do smaller areas at a time

    This is an excellent product! I used this on painted walls and it did not take the paint off! Saved my office tons in painting fees! I also used on a red wall and it showed a little pink on the rag but did not remove the paint completely!

    Why did I ever hesitate about getting and using this!?
    As I am writing this I can't recall ever being disappointed in a ZEP professional cleaning product as I have used and love several ZEP products. How many times have you walked into someone else's home or office and noticed the finger prints and stains on their doors and door frames? But, you somehow don't see the very same marks on your own doors. That is me and I notice everyone else' dirt but not my own until I look mine now. So, I got the ZEP foaming wall cleaner and first went to the garage door of a home that is 32 years old and I don't think anyone has ever tried cleaning the door on the garage side since the home was built. The instructions are simple. Shake the can, spray the area and wipe it clean. No scrubbing, no heavy pressure. So my first test was that door. The stuff cleaned it and cleaned it really well and removed what I thought were permanent stains. I was sold. The can is in my truck and goes with me to the rent houses now. For the review, I went to my "clean" office. I know the doors have been cleaned because I did it but the window cleaner I used had little effect as it did clean and it smelled good but a lot of the dirt was leaving a "permanent" stain. So I went over the same places where stains were present and this took those stains and they are not only cleaner, they are gone! I shook the can, sprayed the stains until a nice layer of foam was over them and wiped them using paper towels. The directions say to wipe immediately. Because I was photographing, I waited a few seconds. The photos were only cropped. No "photoshopping" of the dirt either putting it on or taking it off. The stuff works and for me, it is an excellent value.

    Absolutely Amazing!
    I would give this six stars if I could. If you have young children at home, this is a game-changer. I had conceded that I would need to repaint several rooms of my two year old home due to the finger prints, smudges, etc. they leave behind. In fact I had even bought the paint for one room. Gave this cleaner a shot and now I wish I didn't buy the paint. Walls look like the day we moved in. Super easy to use - just spray and wipe. And surprisingly, the clean area blends right into the area untreated. I've noticed trying to clean my walls with anything else tends to leave 'shadows' behind - but this does not. So you can easily clean one specific spot. Not only does this clean fingerprints, etc. but actually took off some scrapes which I never would have even thought to try to "wipe" off (see pictures). Could not recommend a product more than this one!!

    This has bubble that scrub so you just have to wipe it off. Spray it on, give it half a minute, then wipe (rub) with a clean towel. I used a brush before reading the instructions. The brush worked good as well but you need to use a towel to get the grime up. I do not know if it has beach so it would be safe for your clothes. Be sure to wipe the floor under the spray because the floor gets slippery!

    Great new product...at least, new to me. When I saw this on the website, I knew it would be perfect to clean my kitchen ceiling with. I am also planning to use my Jumbo mop with a roller brush to be able to reach the ceiling area easier. I may eventually repaint the ceiling, but for now I have no doubt that the Foaming Wall (ceiling) Cleaner is exactly the right product for me.

    I was really excited to try this product but it was a complete waste of money. It didn’t do anymore to clean the walls than plain water with a washcloth.
