Product Overview

Zep 32 oz. Calcium, Lime and Rust Stain Remover is a concentrated acid formula that instantly removes calcium deposits, limescale and rust stains. This concentrated formula can be used on brick, stucco, cement, porcelain, glass and fiberglass to remove stains and discoloration. The cleaning liquid works as a toilet cleaner and is applicable on tubs and sinks.

    No, it is not advisable to run the Zep Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover through a water softener whole-house filtration system. The cleaner will produce too much foam and It will require multiple flushes. Use the Zep Concentrated Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover to breaks up deposits and remove stains on porcelain tubs, sinks, toilets, brick, cement, stucco, glass and fiberglass. I hope this helps.     is it safe to use on ceramic tile or do you have to worry about it taking the glaze off?

    You should not use CL on glazed ceramic tile. It can remove and/or dull the tile and also cause changes to the grout. Use a vinegar and water mixture and soft bristle brush if necessary.

    Well, while it would remove deposits ?, It would also likely remove the finish from your pool tile. Furthermore, contact with chlorinated water will release chlorine fumes which are deadly. The simple answer is no, do not use it in your pool.

    Would it be safe to use the mixture in a spray bottle? It would be easier to apply.

    Thank you for your inquiry. The Zep Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover contains a very strong acid. It is not advisable to use in a spray bottle. Fill a plastic bucket with the Zep Calcium, Lime & Rust Stain Remover and warm water, and apply the mixture with a brush or sponge. Allow the mixture to penetrate stain for 5-10 minutes, then rinse surface thoroughly with water. I hope this information is of help.     Does not work well on build-up however, it is a very good general purpose cleaner.

    Amazing
    cleaned 4 toilets that had rust and calcium stains. we brushed and scrubbed and used clorox bleach and nothing was removed. one application of this stuff and I got shinning toilets

    Got most of the rust stains out. I pored the whole gallon on the rust stained cement then used a push broom to scrub it in. Then I pressure washed the cement. I think the hose would have done as well as the pressure washing.

    Super Fast Calcuim, Line and Rust Stain Remover
    Had a couple of jobs to remove calcium depots, line scale and rust from the kitchen facet. It work really fast and removed all the depots, scale and stains off the stainless Steel faucet. You should use glove since it has some harmful chemicals For the use on porcelain tubs, sinks, toilets, cement stucco, glass, fiberglass. This cleaner is not for use on wood, fabric, natural stone, aluminum, brass, chrome or painted surfaces.The product contains urea hydro chloride, glycolic and surfamic acids..
