This elegant Crown Molding piece will complete your ZLINE Wall Mount Range Hood in Stainless Steel by providing a smooth transition from your hood to ceiling. The crown molding is designed to be installed on models 455 (all sizes), 476 (all sizes), 477 (all sizes), 667 (all sizes), and 697 (all sizes). If your hood is one of these models, the crown molding should fit. However, because the backsplash is already installed, you will need to ensure there is enough clearance for the crown molding. Please note that returns are not accepted for ZLINE accessories. Hello Grace! Thank you for reaching out to us. Our range hoods are manufactured to be installed on a horizontal surface, and will not be able to be installed with a sloped ceiling. To install our range hoods with a slanted ceiling, you will need to install a soffit, to mount this range hood on a horizontal surface. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

The plate mounts to the ceiling and back wall--BUT---if you already have the ZL687 installed---The chimney extension is secured to a provided bracket that also mounts to the back wall at the ceiling. These two brackets/plate are incompatible?? You cant mount the molding plate over the existing bracket and if you would mount the chiney extension bracket on the plate wall portion then the chiney wouldnt be flush to the wall. WHAT do you do??----Thanx---Bob

Hi Bob, There is a small plate that goes over the top of the chimney that overhangs on the sides and dips below the top of the chimney. The Crown Molding just slides over the top of that and will be perfectly flush with the ceiling at that point. Give ZLINE a call at (614) 777-5004 and we can address these questions further. Thanks,
