Will this fit a sloped ceiling, and can I install after initial installation?

For vaulted or angled ceilings, we recommend working with a local contractor to build a custom soffit, which will allow the unit to be installed flush with the ceiling. I've gotten two trim kits in a row with broken welds in the top trim piece, which leaves very visible gaps between the front piece and the side piece. If I had to do it over I would not purchase from ZLINE.
