Heavy, high quality, beautifully finished stainless cookware set in a variety of useful sizes. We have owned several premium-quality pots and pans from All-Clad for almost 15 years, and these from Zwilling stack up well. The set includes a nice selection of small to medium pieces -- 8" and 10" frying pans, 1 and 2 qt. sauce pans, 3 qt. saute pan, and 6 qt. Dutch oven. All but the frying pans include glass lids, and all are dishwasher, stovetop, and oven safe. Outstanding. They are thick-walled -- 18/10 stainless-clad aluminum on the bottom and sides -- and heat evenly and quickly. The handles are robust, attached with through rivets, and even after 15 min. or so over the fire, stay cool enough to pick up without a mitt. A couple of nice touches -- the handles are heavily concave and will hold a spoon handle securely, and all of the pan edges are turned out to a sharp edge, so they pour cleanly. All in all, a beautiful set of cookware and presented in an elegant black box. Would make a perfect wedding or housewarming gift, and the quality more than justifies the price. The lifetime warranty is a bonus. Highly recommended.

The Zwilling Spirit 10-Piece 3-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware Set includes a good assortment of pan sizes and types including 2 frying pans, 2 saucepans, 1 saute pan, and 1 Dutch oven. The pans have tempered glass lids which make it easy to monitor food during cooking. The pans are very heavy which could be a problem for a person with arthritis. The 6 quart Dutch oven will be good for making soups and stews, but is probably too small for cooking pasta. I especially like the cookware since it does not have any type of non-stick coating. I am impressed with the quality of the cookware and look forward to using it for many years.

A beautiful set for the serious cook.
Pro: All the basic pots and pans are here in this set. Sturdy construction. Distributes heat very well. Packaged nice enough for gift giving. See thru glass lids a big plus in my mind.
Con: None, really.
General: This set is 3 ply construction. Some recommend 5 ply for commercial grade stoves. Stainless steel is not non-stick, but is super durable and doesn’t wear off like non-stick coatings. We use Barkeepers Friend now and then to keep them shiny.

Great set, but not perfect.
This is set is exactly what I was looking for - well weighted, quality steel, clear lids, dishwasher/oven safe. However, there are two flaws imo. 1) The lids need vents, otherwise you have to tilt. It's not a big deal but with the price tag of this set, it's a small addition for added convenience. 2) The handles are pretty uncomfortable. I still question who approved this handle design, but anyway I try to hold these is very uncomfortable. The weight of these requires you to grab the handle in a way that digs into your palm and doesn't provide a secure grip when say, flipping something in the pan. Must use towel or glove. Overall, I still love them.

Good product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a 4.6qt sauce pan for few years and when it was time to upgrade from ptfe coated products this was an easy choice. Its a bit tough to get used to food sticking at bottom, but pans are easy to clean. They look nice. Dont mind paying the premium on cost.
