Yes. By definition it is "unfinished" awaiting your stain and Tung oil or polyurethane for protection.
I used liquid nails and glued it to the flooring, not to the cement-the whole system floats.
No track is needed. You either nail it down or glue it.
It's around 3/4".
I would use quarter round.
Wood molding is not designed to be snapped into track.
Certainly...I would use an oil base paint.
edsc, Not meaning to sound mean or ugly, Just go in to Home Depot.com and look up that store. That is the beauty of the site, you can look for products at any store in the US. The next best thing is to go on line and shop for it. They will ship it to you local store free of charge. You just go in and pick it up after you have paid for it on line. That way if your store does not have it, you can get it from the Home Depot on line and just pick it up. Pretty cool way to do business. You can get it one way or another.
