Questions & Answers

Will the trim puller remove crown molding without damaging drywall or the trim?

Will the trim puller remove crown molding without damaging drywall or the trim?
Asked by: UP
My suggestion is to cut the caulk with a multi-tool or other method first. Depending how it's affixed to the wall, there is a possibility of minor damage to the drywall. The molding should come away undamaged if it's done properly and assuming it's simply nailed in place.

Can you extend the handle with a paint extension rod ?
Asked by: Rob
It doesn't have any threading. It's just a rubberized handle over metal.

not sold in store why?

This tool should be made available in store and can easily substitute some of the lesser selling tools pry bars or scrapers.I have seen this tool used in on line videos and think this alone would out sell some of the bigger bars used for for trim pulling, people remodeling don't have time to wait a week if doing a project involving pulling and saving door trim to use in another part of a house.
Asked by: guardduck25
Usually it is not sold with enough turnover to fill the shelving space and it is easy to ship. I bet they sell a lot more hammer then something like this tool. Even with power tools you will often find only 1 to 3 in stock. You only need to buy a power tool once. Although, I have two cordless drills. Even with a quick change adapter it is a lot easier to pre-drill with one and then drive the screw with the other drill.
