Mirror peeling
After receiving this as a gift in October 2020, this mirror has already began to show wear.
The corner started peeling, and it has spread along the bottom border. I am unsure how to fix this issue, I don’t believe I can just replace the mirror so pretty sure I’ll just need to buy a whole new medicine cabinet.
This cabinet is not built to last.

Desilvering or “mirror rot” happens when the protective coatings on your mirror are compromised and the silver nitrate is exposed. Even if your mirror is mounted on the wall, the silver nitrate will begin to react with particles in the air, moisture, or even the products you use for mirror cleaning. The silver nitrate and the copper sulfate oxidize, and the result is black edges on your mirror. The rusting process can be accelerated depending upon the environment (electrolytes, salinity, poor air circulation, etc.). The medicine cabinet fit perfectly and is beautiful, simple and clean lines. 4 stars only because it came with no hardware to hang it with and mirror is slightly bent at bottom so when you look on the side it’s about a 1/4” bent forward. It’s a small imperfection but still looks beautiful.

I was going to surface mount but the bracket that I thought was included was not so I had to get ...
I was going to surface mount but the bracket that I thought was included was not so I had to get a handyman to cut a hole on the wall to recess mount. Very spacious inside goes well with my bathroom.

Very Nice!! I rarely write reviews but this product deserves it. I replaced the old worn cabinet with this unit and couldn't be happier especially for the price. The cabinet is strong and the mirrored door has a pretty beveled edge that reflects multi-colored prisms in my washroom in certain light. When I remodel my other washroom I will purchase another one of these.

I have bought and installed a number of Zenith frameless medicine cabinets over more than ten years. They are good units that are attractive and reasonably priced. They age well too.

This medicine cabinet is functional and fit in the space...
This medicine cabinet is functional and fit in the space of our old medicine cabinet which was installed in the early 1990's and is why we purchased it. If you want something that will fit in a 13.5 x 23.5 opening, your choices are limited. It is pretty basic construction (which is reflected in the price), and could be sturdier, but it worked for what we wanted. The sides are slightly wavy if this is a concern, but they can be slightly adjusted by pushing in on them. It only comes with 2 plastic shelves. Our old one, which was probably an older version of the same thing, had 3. Inside, it has squared off corners, which allows you to better use the bottom and top shelf (the old one had rounded corners). It is painted bright white inside which reflects the light and makes it easier to see. If starting with a blank wall, I would want something better, but this worked perfectly for what we needed.

Happy to replace the old ones in my condo that...
Happy to replace the old ones in my condo that have been in there since 1991. This is the depth and the height and width of the old one. The shelves are plastic but the backing in metal. Great price.
