I have a fiberglass tub that is not as slick...
I have a fiberglass tub that is not as slick as porcelain. The mat will not stick to the floor of the tub so I have to throw it away. The packaging does say not for use in tubs with a textured bottom. My tub is really not textured, maybe very lightly.

We're sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your purchase of this bath mat, Dianec7. I have some tips that may help with getting your mat to stick to your tub. First, be sure the floor of your tub is a flat, smooth surface. We do not recommend installing this bath mat on textured or uneven surfaces as the mat may slip. Before placing the mat, wet the surface of the tub with a small amount of water. Then, press the mat firmly to the bottom of the tub to secure it in place and carefully step on the mat to ensure the suction cups have adhered to the tub. Repeat these same steps before each use and be sure to clean the mat and tub regularly to improve adhesion and reduce any slippery residue. If you are still experiencing issues, please feel free to reach out to the manufacturer's U.S.-based Customer Service department Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM EST by calling 800-892-3986.
