Every home needs one....or more! This is the handiest item to have on hand. It's a perfect way to determine whether or not you want something permanent. For me it has solved several problems without needing to look further.
My first problem was keeping a rain screen in a window that the slightest breeze would push over. The room isn't used often so keeping the screen in during inclement weather is important. Having some type of brackets put on the window frame didn't appeal to me. Using the tension rod allows me to not worry and I no longer have to run upstairs to find a wet mess.
Next I was looking for a convenient place to hang the kitchen drain mat under the sink. This tension rod fit just right and a permanent bar doesn't need to be installed. There's room for a few spray bottles too.
Another problem I needed to solve was in a small garage closet that housed motorcycle jackets. Because the jackets have armor in the shoulders and sleeves I was always having to push them in and force the doors closed quickly. Placing the tension bar across the sleeves solved the problem perfectly!
Next my attention turned to the (dogs) sidecar on my motorcycle. I need to periodically attach a fan for them and the tension rod came in handy. Having this easy fix saved me from costly alterations to the rig.

Perfect size for a door opening or shower stall. I needed it to hang a temporary curtain at the top of the staircase. Helps keep the hot air from coming upstairs during the summer.
Vert easy to use and install. Just extend it to your opening and turn it
till it's tight. Installed correctly the rod is very secure.
It's well built and I'm sure it will last a long time.

This shower rod is absolutely fantastic. It is easily adjustable. All you have to do is stretch it out, and twist both sides the opposite direction. It is made out of materials that will never rust. It is definitely strong enough to hold up any shower curtain. I even use mine as clothes hanger for a few items when needed. Both ends easilt pop off and can be re-installed by pushing them back on.
