The camera is very simple to mount and start watching.
I unpacked my iHome insite smart outdoor wi-fi camera and powered it up in order to connect it to my wi-fi system. I renamed my 2.4 gigahertz output on my and then connected the camera to my phone. I powered it down and took everything outside to mount the camera on the side of my garage about ten feet up so I can see a large area of the driveway. I mounted the camera base and slid the camera into the base, adjusted the tilt on the camera and then drilled another hole below the camera for the power cable. I slid the cable through the hole and inside of the garage, so the outside is done.
Next, I connected the power supply to the camera cable and plugged it in to the wall outlet for power. After powering up, the phone connected to the camera through the wi-fi, and I had a picture of the driveway on my phone. Now whenever the camera picks up movement in the driveway, I get an alert and a live video of the driveway.

Very Nice Camera
This white iHome Insight Wired Smart Outdoor 1080p Wi-Fi Security Camera has night vision, smart motion alerts and is weatherproof. It also has a microphone and speaker for two-way communication. The power cord consists of 11 ½ feet of wire to a connector and then an additional 5 feet of cord to the adapter. The connector will pass through a ½ inch diameter hole. There is a small compartment with a slot for adding a 128 GB micro-SD card for recording and a button for resetting the camera. I found the initial setup easy as I already have other Geeni connected products. The camera is wide angle and works very well and the app on my smartphone makes selection of features and getting screen grabs or video easy. The mounting base is 2 3/8-inch diameter and is mounted with 2 screws. The base can be rotated and the mounting fork adjusted side to side. The camera can be pivoted on the axis which is 2 ½ inches from the mounting surface. All combined the camera can be aimed in any direction. Overall, this is a nice clean, compact camera with all the features you could ask for.

Insight Wired Smart Outdoor 1080p Wi-Fi Security Camer
I have had many security cameras in the past some were big name brands but for the price this one is amazing. One of the best things I like is the fact that it's hardwired the simple fact is I don't have to deal with batteries which is a huge issue because batteries depending on how you use it including not using it at all can cause them to drain at least that's what I noticed in my experience. With that said it's so nice to be able to plug this into an outlet and you're set there is no base station all you need is the actual camera and an SD card sold separately and you're good to go. The quality is very good and it makes it very easy to set these up as long as you're close to an outlet they do give you a decent amount of length and the cord.The app was super easy to install and I had no issues whatsoever really quick plug and play they make it so easy today .

Nice camera
I am glad I found this camera so I can install it in my back yard so I can watch everything that goes on in the back yard even when my son or my grandkids are swimming in the pool.My wife is very happy that we found it and now she wants me to install it . It is so easy to install and then all I have to do is download the app that goes with this camera. Thank You Home Depot and iHome.

ihome outdoor security camera
I ordered this security camera to replace one that had quit working . It is controlled by the Geeni app that you download on your smart phone, I have several different devices controlled by this app and the work seemlessly. The iHome camera was easy to install with step by step instructions, the high definition camera was great with several features like motion detection, sound detection, two way communication. I think it a great product.

A Great Security Camera
iHome…. Insight Wired Smart Outdoor 1080P Wi-Fi Security Camera with Night Vision, Weatherproof and Smart motion alerts, this security camera has alot of features for the $dollars$ starting with a great high quality HD picture, 2-way audio, motion activation, night vision (appx 30 ft), weather resistant and a zoom feature. This indoor/outdoor camera comes with all the mounting hardware, cables (appx 20 ft) and mounting instructions necessary for a fast and easy installation the Wi-Fi and phone app setup was quite easy only took about a couple of minutes, and it has Cloud or built in SD card slot for storage, but it does not come with an SD card, this security camera more than met my expectations.

Easy camera to setup
This camera is really simple to set up. we already used geeni in our home to control lights and some other cameras that we watch over our dog with. This camera is very simple when you go to set it up the software and geeni will show a barcode that you point to the camera and the camera automatically connects to your Wi-Fi and is configured makes it super simple this camera has a 1080 picture is really nice. m really surprised with how far these cameras have come with technology. It comes with all the instructions and all the tools required to install it and it's very light. I will definitely pick up some more of these to watch over my animals when I'm away from home I'm very impressed, you shouldn't have any problem installing these cameras if you're using the geeni software

Great Picture quality
ihome insight wired smart outdoor 1080p wifi security camera with night vision, weatherproof, smart motion alert, some of the instructions on the booklet doesn't said anything about charging the camera also the instructions to unattached the mounting plate it says to pull away from camera, not so you have to slide it downward to remove, Very nice quality picture, works great with our wifi connection.
