Defective valve
This faucet has a design flaw that will cause water hammering.
The faucet designer used a control cartridge that recommends using check valves but the designer didn’t include this in their design. The result is water hammering caused by the internal pressure balance valve whenever any other valve in the house is opened or closed. A $300 faucet should be properly designed but this one is not.

I spend over 50 hours trying to troubleshoot the problem before I found the cartridge manufacturer’s website and their recommendation to use optional check valves when developing a faucet design with their cartridge. A $300 faucet should be properly designed but this one is not.

This item is made in China and replacement parts are not available. The anti scald mechanism interrupts the hot water flow to a trickle. If you want the "rain" experience you'll have to take a cold shower. Had an experienced plumber try to install it and was so exasperated he said return it. We bought a Moen instead.

My review is "Good" for now. I have it installed but the bathroom is not ready for daily showering use as of this time. I have it water integrity tested for leaks after the rough-in installation and so far so good (no leaks and I used the old "copper pipe" installation).
