My second purchase of this plant and it got blight
The blight fungus were all over the place and i have to cut about 1/4 leaves. Then i purchased fungal control spray to see how it works. No expecting this to happen.

This item as pictured shows in a large tea cup. The title was Brew-Tea-Ful. It led me to believe that it was called that because it was in a tea cup. When it arrived the plant had leaves falling off and it wasn’t in a tea cup. Within 3 days all the leaves had fallen off. When I called they said the Tea cup planter wasn’t included. I was disappointed. There were no care instructions included in the box either. When I asked about that they told me I had to go to their website. But it wasn’t included in the mailing. Only the dying plant. I watered it and tried to nurse it back to health but was unable to.

I though the idea of having a tea plant was fun and even if I never decide to harvest and roast it, it was just a pretty ornamental plant. It came in great shape in a pot and the box was stabilized really well to prevent damage to the plant. I did some research on my own and it looks like these plants need at least moderate sunshine and don't do the best in freezing temperatures. I have mine in a window that gets sun currently and it seems to be really happy and makes me happy. Maybe at some point in the future I will look at a bigger pot that it still mobile that I can move in the garage when it gets below freezing.

Packing and shipping of this plant was spectacular. The plastic pot was carefully wrapped In a baggie and tied around the stem. This was then inserted into a smaller box that kept the plant centered during shipping in the larger box (see photos below) The quality of the plant is very high. If I went to a nursery and hand picked one, it would be this one, It shows sign of newer growth, and was very healthy. I have planted this outside in an area that gets partial sun. I am hoping it does well where I have planted it.

This absolutely gorgeous camelia plant arrived very carefully packaged and yet easily unpacked. It was a bit dry so I gave it a drink, but there was no drooping or dead leaves or anything to actually show it had been shipped. There is a lot of new growth on it and I look forward to watching it grow and bloom into the beautiful "adult" plant I know it will be. There are already quite a few buds.

There is something exotic about growing a tea plant. It is a member of the group referred to as Camelias. I love Camelias they do take some protection in my area but so worth it as typically they bloom when nothing else does. The tea plant will bloom in summer but it isn't extraordinary like regular Camelias. It has smaller white flowers. This arrived in great condition. It was fresh and healthy. The packaging was excellent. I was pleased with the size and condition of the plant sent. Perhaps I shall make a small grove of tea plants.

This was lovely! I bout it as a housewarming gift for my mother-in-law and she adores the scent, she's keeping it in the enclosed patio while it's freezing but has every intention of planting it when the season is more conducive. It arrived thriving and is beautiful. It also arrived earlier than expected! She's had it for a couple of months now and keeps praising the scent.
