Product Overview

Sweet Olives flowers may be small in size, but they are big on fragrance. Once you've experienced its apricot-like aroma, you will never want to be without this incredible plant again. Sweet Olive bursts into bloom from spring to fall with clusters of petite white flowers. In warm areas, it can be enjoyed as a shrub or trained to grow as a small tree or espalier (grown flat against a support or wall). With proper care, Sweet Olive will thrive in any part of the country and should be planted in a container and moved indoors for winter in cold climates.
  • Includes 1 sweet olive in a 2.5 qt. grower pot
  • Grows in USDA hardiness zones 9-11, but will perform well in colder zones with proper winter protection
  • Mature size is 10 in. tall to 15 in. W
  • Intense fragrance perfumes the garden for months
  • Low-maintenance shrub thrives in most soil types
  • Performs best in full sun to part shade

All 3 with diseases
These are well packed. But they all got disease. I am not sure if they will spread to other plants in the garden. Pretty disappointed, I really want them to work.

Purchased 3 sweet olive shrubs, UPS shipping was terrible, one package was Crushed and bended Into two from the middle, took 11 Days instead of a week on the road. After opened, 2 out of 3 shrubs’ roots are completely exposed to the air and bone dry, I could tell when transplanting for shipping, they were Roughly thrusted into the pots with scarce amount of potting soil, And leaves are weathering and start falling. I believe the shrubs were healthy before shipping, but the way to handle them is a failure. Re-potted immediately, Not sure whether or not they will survive. Not recommended.

All three plants arrived earlier than expected. They were all secure and did not suffer damage with the long distance shipping. Though one of the plants looks like a runt, it’s only 1/2 the size of the others. But all 3 transitioned beautifully so I can’t wait for the next few years when they bloom
